The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at Honeydew School, Mahasamund. The entire school campus was filled with festive energy as our young Honeydew stars came dressed in beautiful traditional attire, spreading happiness and colors all around.
The celebration began with teachers and children performing aarti and lighting diyas to symbolize the triumph of light over darkness. Students participated in activities like diya decoration, rangoli making, and storytelling, learning about the significance of Diwali in a fun and interactive way.
Our tiny tots stole the show as they performed in traditional costumes, depicting scenes from Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya and the essence of togetherness that Diwali brings. The decorations, made by our teachers and students, reflected creativity and teamwork — from vibrant garlands to hand-made lanterns and art displays.
Through this celebration, students learned valuable lessons of goodness, sharing, and gratitude, which form the core message of Diwali.
The event truly reflected the spirit of Honeydew School — where learning goes hand in hand with cultural values and joyful experiences.
As the diyas lit up our school, they also brightened the hearts of every child, reminding us all that light always conquers darkness and knowledge always overcomes ignorance.
