Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan Celebration 2026 — Honeydew School, Mahasamund

"Learning through play is the Honeydew way!"

Honeydew School marked Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan 2026 with a spirited cleanliness drive, taking the message of a cleaner, greener India beyond the classroom and onto the streets of Mahasamund. Armed with gloves, garbage bags, and a whole lot of enthusiasm, our students stepped out to make a real difference in their community.

Taking to the Streets

Students, gloves on and garbage bags in hand, walked through the neighbourhood collecting litter and cleaning up the streets around the school. Guided by their teachers, the children moved from lane to lane, picking up waste and setting an example of civic responsibility that surprised and inspired many onlookers along the way.

Marching for a Cleaner India

The cleanliness drive doubled as an awareness rally, with students holding up banners reading "स्वच्छ भारत, एक कदम स्वच्छता की ओर" and placards with messages like "We Say No to Plastic," "Please Use Dustbin," and "Go Green." Their voices and posters carried a simple but powerful message to everyone they passed.

Art with a Message

Before hitting the streets, students had put their creativity to good use, making posters and drawings on the theme of cleanliness and sustainability. These self-made posters were proudly held up throughout the rally, each one carrying a young student's own take on why a clean India matters.

A Photo Booth for a Cause

Back on campus, a specially decorated "Clean India" photo booth added a fun, memorable touch to the day, with students posing in gloves and masks in support of the cause — a playful reminder that keeping India clean starts with each of us.

Cleanliness as a Value, the Honeydew Way

At Honeydew School, we believe civic responsibility is a lesson best learned by doing. Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan 2026 gave our students a firsthand experience of what it means to care for their community, leaving them — and their neighbourhood — a little cleaner and a lot more aware.
